Town of Aurora Board Meeting 11/9/2009

The Town of Aurora Board formerly approved the 2010 budget which includes tax rate increases in all three funds that comprise the budget.

Supervisor Dwight Krieger praised the budget saying that it was a difficult year for all municipalities.

The vote was 3-1 with Jeffrey Harris voting against and Kelly wahl absent.

Several residents spoke out and again stated their opposition to a budget that includes pay raises while taxes are being increased.

Councilman Harris spoke out against newly elected officials Jolene Jeffe and Jeffrey Markello taking the health insurance plans that are offered to them.
