The majority of the meeting consisted of two speeches. One was from Art Giacalone who spoke out against Mayor Clark Crook and his push to move the demolition and build of a new 4,000 square foot Mobil Hyper Mart at the location of the existing Mobil.
The other was from trustee Al Kasprczak who chastised Crook for not working with the village board regarding village dissolution prior to going public with his plan.
Kasprczak has said that he has had 22 calls and other questions from residents who seemed opposed to the idea of village dissolution.
Crook has pledged to run for a second term as village mayor with the focus of his campaign being to dissolve village government.
Crook decided not to talk about either issue but said that he would be bringing it up during the December 7th village board meeting.
