VIDEO: Town of Aurora Board Meeting April 12th, 2010

This is the complete video from the Town of Aurora board meeting that took place on Monday April 12th, 2010.

The meeting started with Supervisor Jolene Jeffe defending her record in the area of transparency. She and the town board had been accused by some of the media of making the decision to terminate the agreement with the village for police services in executive session, something Jeffe criticized the previous board of doing too often.

Jeffe mentioned several things she has done to improve transparency including updating the website with current information on meeting agendas and meeting minutes, allowing two times for the audience to comment on any matter the choose, and requiring the department heads to give regular status updates.
